Beauty icon, Sukhi Lidher, has been a make-up artist for almost 10 years but this wasn’t always her path. She received her diploma in education assistance to work with special needs kids – but the creative life was calling her name.
To hone her skills, Sukhi completed courses in Hair and Make-up at Blanche McDonald and continuously is perfecting her craft and learning from her peers. Sukhi has completed certifications from various local and international make up artists.
Sukhi finished her diploma in Education Assistance because she always finishes what she starts, but she never worked in the field. Sukhi decided to pursue Make-Up and Hair full time from the first day because she wanted to give it her all and see where it took her. And she’s never looked back!
Aside from make-up, Sukhi is an avid traveller who loves planning her next trip. She loves heading up to Kelowna for some quick weekend getaways and a fun wine tour but also enjoys making a trip down to Vegas or L.A. where she’s always the life of the party.
A lover of all things food and her favourite restaurant in Vancouver is Kobe and you can almost always catch Sukhi trying new local faves on her time off. Sukhi’s guilty pleasure is reality TV and crime/action thriller movies so send her a recommendation if you’ve got one! She’s obsessed with the 00’s hip-hop and r&b and even a little country.
Spirituality has been a huge focal point in Sukhi’s life and she makes a conscious effort to keep that a daily practice. She has been working as a make-up and hair artist for years and she has some really big goals when it comes to her brands: Princess Studio and Princess Cosmetics.
